Great drive today
Finally no rain
Texas is beautiful... Rolling wooded hills in the NE broccoli section and flat wheat fields in the east brim of Abe Lincoln's hat section
We close today at Quanah

3rd leg... to Texas

We drove from Bay St Louis, Mississippi to Hallsville, Texas. For those of you wondering where Hallsville is... Look for where someone cut the brocolli on the NE side of Texas.

We got a good shot of the 'Welcome to Louisiana' sign.

So we decided not to take the picture of 'Welcome to Texas'

Flamingos

Since I moved to Florida I've looked for Flamingos, sometimes mistaking Spoonbills for Flamingos... People told me that you have to go further south.
Now after spending weeks traveling through the everglades and not seeing any flamingos, I looked on line and and found from an Audebon Society article, because of the draining of the Everglades, that other than Zoos and a couple of Parks there are NO MORE wild Flamingos in Florida.
Are we missing something?
