Castle Garden, WY

After breakfast we got some gas and took a drive to Castle Garden. It was a 50 mile drive just to get to the turn and this was the first turn. Then we had another 12 miles of 4 wheeling to get to the Castle Gardens. We passed 5 farms on the way but could only see two sets of building and we could see to the horizon.

We were stopping for cattle in the road and pronghorns, and six mule deer in the road.

The drive was definitely worth it

We even found some petroglyphs

Debbie walked the path taking pictures and I decided to climb to the rim of the canyon

The views from the top were terrific

We sat under a scrub pine and had lunch, it was great.
