Decided to take a ride to Yellowstone this morning
The pictures aren't even close to the beauty that is Yellowstone
We stopped first at West Thumb, here there are Gysers, Mud Pots and our first views of Duck Lake & Yellowstone Lake
We could not believe how clear the water was and how many different colors, just beautiful
Debbie had goosebumps all morning she was so excited
Then we drove on to Old Faithful Geyser, what a great place. On the way we crossed the Continental Divide 4 times. The canyons were amazing, one of the first we passed was so deep and absolutely sheer faces that there is no way the Grand Canyon could possibly be deeper. We'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow, it's hard to find places to pull over.
There are tons more pictures, of Old Faithful, but Deb's camera was dying so I don't think it sent them all to my computer. I'll work on it tomorrow.
As we were sitting waiting & watching for Old Faithful, there were approximately 15 or 20 other eruptions from other gysers that we could see.
We had a great day, tomorrow we're going back to Old Faithful to walk the Gyser Basin and see others
